We understand that when you first look into using a new tool that you’re not familiar with, it helps to compare how others who are in similar positions as yourself (or your company), can be quite helpful. The above image is an example of international screening with multiple languages that Dyson created used our multiple language feature to create different languages of their screener that each had different JS codes that were implemented on various languages of their sites around the world. Every single element of an Ethnio screener can be changed for different languages.

Live Intercepts

"Ethnio helped us learn in a real-time, cost-effective way how people were engaging with the campaign online. Our target audience was all of America. A cornerstone of our winning strategy was using technology to reach people just learning about the President's platform, engaged supporters, and our most committed volunteers. Obama for America worked with volunteer usability researchers across the country to perform remote usability testing. Running that program wouldn't have been possible without Ethnio."

Direct Link

Facebook UX researchers and designers use ethnio for a variety of projects and for new app launches. In the past, they’ve published their ethnio screeners using the ‘Direct Link’ URL option. If you’ve used Facebook, like just about everyone else in the world, I’m sure you’ve seen their ads on the right hand side of your screen, like this... Prime spot for direct link placement.

Bottom-Locked Screener

Shopify locked their screener to the bottom of the home page, then asked questions that filtered particular participants to take a third party study tool, card sort, etc. Using our logic feature, they asked a few critical questions that determined who received an invite to take the online exercise. You can do that, or use bottom locked to recruit for other types of research. Up to you!

“We use Ethnio when we need to talk to people that a recruitment agency just wouldn't be able to find. We often want people who are in the early stages of researching or using our product, and are in the right mindset. Other recruitment methods just don't cut it for these situations. Every project is different and experimentation with copy, incentives, scheduling and style in Ethnio is important to improve results. The fact that this kind of on-the-fly editing is supported is what makes the tool unique.”
